Concepts to assist in the refurbishment of our new Beaumaris residence.
Suzanne had previously managed the interior design of our last residence
in East Brighton and we were delighted with the outcome. Her attention
to detail, choice of fabrics and design of furniture is amazing.
Working around two antique rugs located in the
living areas, again she has designed and implemented new window
shutters, custom made chairs, couch, tables, ottomans & soft
furnishings including the sourcing of beautiful lamps & framed
art pieces to compliment the above. The overall effect is a beautiful
& stylish interior; again amazing all who visit.

Our home was tired and in need of some TLC,
a new kitchen & bathrooms. But where to start?!! I didn’t
really have much of a clue, not only about sourcing the right products
but how to find competent, excellent, and reliable tradespeople
who wouldn’t rip us off or do a less than average job we’d
end up hating. How to go about the whole project in such a way where
the end result would be spectacular and within our budget was the
challenge. A friend recommended Melbourne Design Concepts. Suzanne
first came and did a Project Appraisal of what she thought was needed,
after we told her what areas we wanted to address. Every idea has
been fabulous and relatively affordable and ones that would give
maximum impact to make our home even more beautiful and welcoming.
For a lay person taking on a major project such
as this, it all looked daunting, but she’s held my hand right
the way through to make the experience as stress-less as possible.
It’s not without it’s moments, but she’s has always
been there to reassure me when something I think might be a big
problem really isn’t and if it is getting out of hand, she
gives me options or solutions.
Suzanne’s picked up the shortfalls when I’ve
struggled with suppliers and kept on them to get exactly what we
required. Her eye for detail is impeccable. She just knows where
to go to get anything you need or want; always keeping us informed
ahead on costs and choices we have. Her watchful eye is always keenly
on the ultimate final look! I doubt I could have managed this on
my own. The decision to employ Melbourne Design Concepts has been
worth every cent! And we’ve had fun along the way too.
